As a practicum counselor currently completing my master’s degree in clinical Mental Health for Counseling at Houston Christian University, my passion lies in creating a safe and collaborative space for clients to explore their experiences and work toward positive change. With a deep-seated commitment to personal growth and empowerment, I believe in the transformative power of counseling to help individuals uncover their true selves and navigate the complexities of life.
Focusing on young adults navigating life changes and coping mechanisms, enhancing self-awareness, and achieving their personal goals with a Cognitive-Behavioral therapeutic approach. I had experience in crisis and trauma-informed work when I worked at a nonprofit in the inner city of San Francisco with women and children experiencing different circumstances. As I continue my education, I remain focused on the mission to support and uplift individuals toward mental well-being and self-discovery.
