Frequently Asked Questions About Therapy Costs
We understand you may have questions about therapy costs and payment options. Here are answers to some common questions.
Why does therapy cost what it does?
How often should I schedule Therapy?
Do you offer package discounts?
What is Cypress Therapy's cancellation policy?
We understand unforeseeable circumstances occur, but your appointment is important. Your therapist may be able to have a phone session or an appointment through our HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platform should you have a sick child or have issues with traffic or weather.
If you are in a confidential location, we can help you keep your regularly scheduled appointment. However, if you must change or cancel your appointment, below are our policies:
- Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
- Cancellations must be made by phone, email or text to CYPRESS THERAPY AND COUNSELING or your therapist.
- Cancellations made to the main office number or main email may not be accommodated after hours or on holidays as the voice mail is not accessible to the therapists.
- If your appointment is on a Monday or the first day following a holiday, make your change or cancellation on the last business day before your appointment.
- Cancelations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to the missed session fee charged to the payment information on file. If using insurance to pay for services, please know that “no shows” or “late cancellations” are not covered by insurance and will be paid out of pocket. This can sometimes be way more than you were paying through insurance.
